Hunt for Spirits

This Halloween spend it here, one of America’s spookiest haunted towns. Costume-up and as you embark on Cemetery Gin’s Hunt for Spirits, a fun and tasty scavenger hunt through the town. Using your historic Virginia City knowledge, solve clues to unlock a riddle and unscramble a secret of our town’s past. Along the way, sample a variety of spirits at participating shops, saloons and restaurants. Unlock the mystery and win prizes. The faster you solve the mystery, the more spins on our digital prize wheel you’ll receive.
Be sure to stop by the Cemetery Gin tasting locations around town, each featuring Cemetery Gin mixed drink samples and vote for your favorite concoction. Since we know you’ll want to take some home, bottles of Cemetery Gin are available for purchase at the Visitors Center, 86 S. C Street, or at locations throughout northern Nevada.
Event check-in takes place at Piper’s Opera House on B Street and starts at 10 a.m. The event takes place from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Stay the weekend and enjoy the many other Halloween events throughout the town.
