Lecture Series: “The Life of Eilley Bowers”
June 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10
Join us for another exciting lecture brought to you by Piper’s Opera House and The Comstock Foundation.
Eilley Orrum Bowers’ life was once filled with adventure, travel, riches, poverty, happiness, and disappointment. Eilley and her husband, Sandy, were the first millionaires on the Comstock. With their new wealth, they built the Bowers Mansion in Washoe Valley, one of the largest houses in the western United States. She was the epitome of a pioneer in the mid-1800s, and a strong pioneering woman who forged ahead through all life’s situations that embraced or failed her.
Among Sandie La Nae’s many talents in the metaphysical world, add to her resume the title of author. To date, she has written twenty-nine books, many with co-author, Special Works Historian, Arline La Ferry. Lae Nae’s volumes include several genres: history, paranormal, memoires, minerals, and is a published poet.
Tickets are $10
